Adam Nathaniel Furman presents a colorful set of three hand-blown glass tumblers and a carafe.
Taking inspiration from chess pieces and Lebanese culture, Furman plays on the idea of a table set as a talking point with characters that move around the table like a miniature city. As the court and army of the chessboard, these tumblers are almost animate with characterization.
They are first handblown using the lampwork technique using borosilicate glass and are made in one of the last glass workshops in Lebanon.
